New Year, New Kitty!

So, I kinda gave up hope that Demon was coming back to me. I hope that she is not dead somewhere, and that maybe even a nicer family picked her up. So, as a New Year's present to myself, I went down to the animal shelter and picked out a new kitten. She is so adorable! I wanted to take the whole litter, but I couldn't. I picked a calico and named her Mittens because she has little white feet in the front. She is the biggest sweetheart! I mean, I loved Demon, but Mittens is soooo cute. I've only had her for a week and she already sleeps with me all curled up by my head. And now when I find people online Mitten just sits quietly beside me. Demon used to walk all over the keyboard when I would do a person search, and it was so annoying because the wrong people got searched! Good thing getting a new cat was one of my top new years resolutions!
